The Troparia (Тропари Утренние) – Morning Orthodox Prayer in Church Slavonic & English

The Morning Troparia (Тропари Утренние) is one of the most beautiful Orthodox morning prayers, sung as the soul awakens to give thanks to God. In this video, you’ll hear the prayer in Old Church Slavonic with English translation, uniting the ancient language of the Church with the hearts of believers today. 🕊️ In English: Having arisen from sleep, we fall down before You, O Good One, and we sing to You, O Mighty One, the angelic hymn: Holy, holy, holy are You, O God; through the Theotokos, have mercy on us. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: Having raised me from my bed and from sleep, O Lord, enlighten my mind and my heart, and open my lips that I may praise You, O Holy Trinity: Holy, holy, holy are You, O God; through the Theotokos, have mercy on us. Now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen. Suddenly the Judge will come, and the deeds of each will be revealed; but with fear we cry out in the middle of the night: Holy, holy, holy are You, O God; through the Theotokos, have mercy on us. ✨ Pray with us and feel the peace of morning prayer. 📿 Subscribe to our Orthodox Prayers family channel to join our daily prayers in Church Slavonic and English. 💬 Share this video with your loved ones — let us pray together wherever we are in the world. #OrthodoxPrayers #MorningPrayer #ChurchSlavonic #OrthodoxChristian
