Ed Berens — Wednoisea. Performance «Drops»: Ambient Noise & Live Art.

The painting Wednoisea was created in real time as a response to the vibrations of music and actions on stage during the ritual performance "Drops." The wax drops falling onto the canvas not only created the texture of the painting but were also picked up by a piezo microphone. The sound of these drops became the foundation of the improvisational composition, in which, through the use of a Jew's harp, synthesizers, and guitar, we summoned the spirit of Wednoisea. It was this spirit that materialized as the image on the canvas. Each line in the painting is an imprint of sound, and the texture is a trace of its energy. The painting reflects the process of sound transforming into a visual form, merging the emotions and impulses of the performance, where chaos is transformed into art. https://soundcloud.com/eduard-berens Картина Wednoisea родилась в реальном времени как отклик на вибрации музыки и действия на сцене во время ритуального перформанса «Drops». Капли воска, падающие на полотно, не только создавали текстуру картины, но и считывались пьезо-микрофоном. Звук этих капель стал основой импровизационной композиции, в рамках которой с помощью варгана, синтезаторов и гитары мы вызывали дух Wednoisea. Именно этот дух материализовался в виде изображения. Каждая линия на картине — отпечаток звука, а текстура — след его энергии. Картина отражает процесс перехода звука в визуальную форму, объединяя эмоции и импульсы перформанса, в котором хаос превращается в искусство.
