The fifth largest city in the country, almost untouched by the destruction of war, without powerful industry and without faceless buildings of the socialist era. Known for its early Christian necropolis, which is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It's nice to stroll around the old center on foot. The abundance of historical monuments complements the close to Mediterranean climate of southern Hungary.
