LST is a great technique that allows growers to increase their yields by creating more bud sites on their plants. It's a gentle and non-invasive method that can be applied early in your autoflower's growth cycle. At around 3-4 weeks, I start LST by gently bending the stem back and forth. This technique helps to get the plant used to bending and also encourages the plant to grow horizontally rather than vertically, which is especially important for autoflowering strains that have a limited vegetative period. After another week, I will use the Tie-Down Method to tie over my autoflower, which is the final form of LST. This method involves gently bending the plant's branches and tying them down to encourage the plant to grow horizontally. This technique helps to create more bud sites, which ultimately leads to a higher yield for your autoflowering cannabis crop. In my next video, I'll demonstrate how to tie down your autoflowering cannabis plant using soft ties and how to ensure that the plant is still receiving enough light and nutrients. I'll also discuss the benefits of LST for autoflowers, including how it can improve the quality and quantity of your harvest, as well as some best practices for growing autoflowering cannabis strains.
