What is a father’s responsibility in Islam? Is being a provider enough, or does Islam ask fathers to do much more? In this powerful 10-minute Islamic reminder, The Ayah Path explores fatherhood in Islam through the Quran and Sunnah — and why a Muslim father is not only a provider, but also a guardian, mentor, teacher, role model, and spiritual anchor for his children. From the busy streets of Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Kuwait and the wider Gulf to Muslim families around the world, modern fathers face the same challenge: working hard to secure their children's future while sometimes losing precious time with them. The Quran gives us a beautiful example in Surah Luqman, where Luqman advises his son about Tawheed, accountability, prayer, patience, humility and character. This video explores: • Father responsibility in Islam • Fatherhood in Islam • Islamic parenting • Muslim father responsibilities • Father and son relationship in Islam • Quranic parenting • Parenting in Islam • Raising righteous children • Luqman advice to his son • Surah Luqman 31:13–19 • Quran and Sunnah on parenting • Prophetic parenting • Islamic family values • Muslim family and parenting • Father as a role model • Father as a spiritual guide • Father as a mentor • Father as a provider and protector • Building a strong father son bond • Raising children with Islamic values • Teaching children Salah and good character • Modern Muslim fatherhood • Parenting in the modern world • Gulf Muslim families • Expat fatherhood • Work-life balance for fathers • Quality time with children • Building a legacy of faith The Prophet ﷺ said: “Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock.” — Sahih al-Bukhari 893; Sahih Muslim 1829 The video also reflects on the advice of Luqman (AS) to his son in Surah Luqman, including Tawheed, prayer, patience, humility and good character. 📖 Quran Reference: Surah Luqman 31:13, 31:16, 31:17, 31:18–19 📚 Hadith References: Sahih al-Bukhari 893, Sahih Muslim 1829, Sunan al-Tirmidhi 1952 If you are a father, son, parent, or anyone interested in Islamic parenting, Quranic guidance, Muslim family life and raising righteous children, this reminder is for you. Ask yourself: If your child is facing a serious problem today, will they come to you first? Start today. Put the phone away. Sit with your child. Listen. Guide. Connect. May Allah help us become fathers and parents who leave behind not only wealth, but faith, character and a lasting legacy. Ameen. 🔔 Follow The Ayah Path for Quran, Sunnah and practical Islamic guidance for modern Muslim life. #FatherhoodInIslam #IslamicParenting #QuranAndSunnah
