Английский язык 6 класс (Урок№34 - Being famous.) Fame It’s great that today we can learn a lot of interesting things from the biographies of famous people. In this lesson we will get acquainted with biography of the world's famous cartoonist and meet face to face with his characters. Цель: научиться составлять краткую биографию на основе новых лексических единиц по теме «Знаменитые люди». Задачи: познакомиться с лексическими единицами биографического характера; систематизировать знания о прошедшем простом времени; активировать и расширить знания по теме «Linkers». мы узнаем: узнаем новую лексику по теме «Being famous»; мы научимся: использовать знания по теме «Linkers» в устной и письменной речи; мы сможем: составить краткую биографию по теме «Being famous», используя активную лексику урока. LINKING WORDS или LINKERS Это специальные слова-связки, которые мы используем в своей речи для того, чтобы она была связной и насыщенной. С помощью этих слов собеседнику проще понять содержание сообщения. Слова-связки могут быть представлены разными частями речи: союзами, частицами и предлогами. С помощью этих слов мы логически связываем не только части сложного предложения, но и части всего текста в целом. Culture corner Walt Disney was a famous American cartoonist. Every child is in love with his funny and interesting characters.Although, few people know that in the beginning of the XX century that famous person was a simple boy who cherished his dream. As a child, Walt had creative abilities. He liked drawing. Years later, he went to Hollywood to try his luck, and he succeeded. In 1932, Walt released the first color cartoon "Flowers and Trees". Then he got the Academy Award, and became a famous man in Hollywood. His first musical animated film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" appeared several years later. Thanks to Walt Disney the colour television appeared in 1962. Despite the fact that the most famous Disney character – Mickey Mouse - is associated to Walt Disney, its author was Ub Iwerks, Disney’s friend and companion.
