Gym in GTA: San Andreas — The "Definitive" Edition (and my rant in the description)
"You pay $60 for three games, not one. They look awesome now and even if there are bugs, they will be fixed. Grove Street Games did a great job on remastering these classics. All hate is unjustified." NO! Three games or not, charging $60 and not allowing to buy them separately is what actually unjustified. Especially for this kind of remasters: they don't look good at all and have countless bugs, that most likely won't be fixed. I mean, why bother? I'm sure a lot of people have pre-ordered this excuse of a remaster, so it has good sales now. Let me remind you something: Grove Street Games (formerly known as War Drum Studios) are the same guys who released a horrendous remaster of San Andreas before and decided that it's fine as it is. For example: the Xbox 360 version still crashes, freezes at the Flight School Lesson Select screen and has that heavy graphical corruption glitch - this is not fine. Moreover, DE is based on the already existing mobile ports, just like the 7th gen remaster of San Andreas was. And here's an example of the mobile origin of these versions: the gym exercises. You can lift the maximum weight even if CJ is completely skinny. That's the case in mobile ports, 7th gen remaster and now in this "Definitive" Edition. Of course, it's impossible in the original game. By the way, I didn't buy it. And I'm really glad I didn't. This footage was taken from the pirated copy, which was also deleted shortly after. UPD. Even though they HAVE fixed some bugs, the last major update came out in February 2022 and these games are still broken. Yet again, this proves that Rockstar, T2 and Grove Street Games are not interested in releasing/making a quality product. All they're interested in is money. These "Definitive" versions are still (and always will be) the mobile ports with questionable improvements. If you are still considering buying them, DON'T DO IT! What? Netflix's mobile versions? Again, the answer is "no", those are still bad (while the initial consoles/PC release of DE is horseshit). #GTASA #GTASanAndreas #GTASanAndreasTheDefinitiveEdition
